David "Rebel" Smith

David “Rebel” Smith, 66, of Fourmile, KY was born January 22, 1960, in Harlan County and passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Rebel was a retired truck driver, the owner of David’s Auto Detailing and believed in the Holiness faith.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dewayne Smith; his brothers, Doyle Smith, Ted Smith and Timothy Smith; his sisters, Judy Smith and Lisa Smith.

Survivors include his loving wife, Libby Huff Smith; his mother, Joyce Ann Smith. His children, Janessa Smith, Derick Smith and Jennifer Skidmore; his grandchildren, Hannah Wagoner, Shawna Smith, David Derick Smith, Breanna Smith, Kaily Smith, Kenzie Shepherd and Lincoln Patrick also his special friend, Billy Wayne Hensley and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 4-PM in the Chapel of the Henson & Rich Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Turner officiating. 

Visitation will also be Sunday from 2-PM until the funeral hour.

Graveside services will be held Monday, February 16, 2026, at 1-PM at the Charlie Smith Cemetery of Smith, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
